Logging and Statistics
  1. PrO Logger v1.0
    FREE - Platform(s): Unix/Linux
A nice visitor logger. PrO Logger will send you an email when a number (set by you) of visitor is reached. Like IP, Browser etc.

  2. Rate This
    $75 - Platform: Unix
Counting the number of hits your site is getting only tells about half the story -- it only tells you about quantity of hits - not the quality of them. It doesn't let you know whether individuals enjoyed visiting your site or whether they'll be back. That's where RATE THIS! steps in to fill the gap.

  3. Ratlog
    Free - Platform: Unix
Ratlog creates daily log files using SSI in standard NCSA combined format including remote host, date and time, page requested, bytes sent, referer, browser and operating system.

  4. Referer
    Free - Platform: Unix
This script goes through the referer_log file on your server and counts how many times your page is referred to by eachURL. It then produces a table to be viewed from the web with a link to each URL that refers to you, how many times the link on that page has been followed to reach your page and the percentage of people coming from that particular page.

  5. RobLog with RobAdmin
RobLog is a freeware program that uses a server-side include to log visitors to a web page. It logs the visitor's IP address, name server, and browser, as well as the date and time of their visit, and the link (if any) they used to arrive at the page. RobLog also compiles information based on day of the week, hour of the day, and IP, and records this information (including percentages and graphs) in a nice HTML layout.

  6. SitePath
    Free - Platform: Unix
SitePath puts a new spin on site access statistics by showing you which PATHS through your SITE are the most common. It also includes a MEMBERSHIP report that details which domains send the most productive referrals. SitePath also includes standard domain, page and whole-site referral reports. SitePath can be configured to use several log files, including those contained in GZIP-format archives.

  7. SmartCNT
    $800 - Platform(s): Unix,Windows NT
A real-time web site traffic analysis tool. Tracks multiple statistics: summary, system tracking, unique visitors, referers, and intense stats. Can generate up to 100 impressions per second.

  8. StatoMaker -SSI & IMAGE version
Free - Platforms: Unix, WinNT, Win95
This counter with his own stat system works with AND without SSI, it makes a complete log with date, time, browsers, operating systems, first level domain and referer. With this script you don't lose your time making good statistics. Good for webmasters who doesn't want to read great server log file and lose their time.

  9. Statomatic
    $75-$99 - Platform(s): Win NT, 2K, XP, & Unix
Statomatic is a real-time web site traffic analysis tool written in C++. It will track and analyze your web site hits and generate detailed, on-demand reports in HTML format with interactive pie-charts and graphs. The fastest and easiest way to get up to the second statistics for your web site from any web browser at any time. Works with or without server log files of any format, on any web server.

  10. StatsPlus
StatsPlus, the infinitive choice in statistics programs, does everything, and more. IP numbers? Got it. Referer data? Yup. Links to the Referers? It's there. Time and Date? Of course. Browser info? Yes they're there too! What are we saying? It's all here, "high end" stuff, "low end" cost (FREE).
